Material Handler
DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for pulling required kits for production and for distribution of the kits and cycle counts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain raw material inventories in good order and accurately maintain all required paper work. Receive incoming material and after its acceptance will properly store and/or stage the accepted material. Fill requisition orders, issue parts, check for discrepancies on picking tickets and distribute as required. Perform the processing of kitting/prepping operations which may also include operating Eubanks wire machine, CF8 lead forming machine, wire crimper. Work with stockroom supervisor to solve problems and make recommendations.
Must be self-motivated and require minimal supervision to accomplish a given assignment. Will keep production and purchasing management aware of shortages and/or discrepancies of raw material.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must know how to use Microsoft, Outlook & Excel. Knowledge of electronic components and resister color codes helpful. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Prior experience in production environment is preferred. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
