Dean Technology Inc. (DTI), a world leading manufacturer of electronic components, is excited to announce the XNVG Series, a new line of axial leaded high voltage diodes in a subminiature package. An enhanced version of the existing XNV Series, the XNVG Series offers diodes from 2 to 5kV with a fast recovery time of 50nS, and are designed with DTI’s innovative diode technology, XOE^TM (eXtreme Optimized Efficiency).

Diodes utilizing XOE technology offer significantly better performance than devices of the same size. XOE diodes have higher current capabilities, lower voltage drop, reduced heat dissipation, and better breakdown immunity from transitions into the avalanche region. As such, they feature enhanced reliability for end user products, and a cost effective and easy migration path for existing circuit board platforms.
