Dean Technology, Inc. today announced the availability of advanced interface options on the UMR-AA and UMR-A series of high voltage power supplies. Using additional pins, the advanced interface options provide for enhanced adjustment and monitoring features consistent with industry standards and known customer needs. The V05 and V10 options are available with +5VDC and +10VDC reference, control and monitoring respectively.

Dean Technology, Inc. today announced the introduction of its new SPS series of digital high voltage power supplies. These are the first products available using the company’s patented technology developed through years of research that drastically improves the performance and capability of high voltage power supplies. The SPS series provide output from positive or negative 250 volts to 6,000 volts at 4, 20, or 30 watts, and have the ability to configure or customize performance and features through software. Remote monitoring and control as well as expandable functionality are standard on all models.

Dean Technology, Inc., today announced the addition of Type 1 and Type 2 power line surge protection devices, the HE series, to its vast CKE suppression line of products. The new surge protection devices (SPD) cover system voltages from 120 to 600 volts and 25 to 300 kA per phase, in four different package sizes with a variety of features.

The patents are the first ever issued to the company and represent the initial results of heavy research and development for the past few years. Dean Technology, Inc., today announced the addition of three more parts to its SL series of surface mount high voltage diodes. The three new parts, the SLA20S, SLA25S, and SLA30S bring the highest voltage rating seen in a surface mount diode with peak inverse voltage ratings of 20,000, 25,000 and 30,000 volts respectively.

Dean Technology, Inc., today announced the introduction of a new high voltage optocoupler, the OPC10M. This 10 kV optical switch is able to variably control a high voltage output up to 10,000 volts by adjusting a reference low voltage input, and is the first product in a new set of optical devices that DTI will be introducing in its HVCA line of products over the coming months.
