Dean Technology, Inc. today announced the introduction of a new series of high voltage power supplies designed specifically for higher voltage applications needing a biasing module. The new UMR-A-10000 series, which is another extension of the existing UMR Collection of power supplies, offers output voltages up to 10kV, input voltages at 12 or 24V, and power at up to 30W. In addition, this line of power supplies offers a high voltage flying lead.

Dean Technology, Inc. today announced the availability of an integral output filter option on all of the UMR-A series of high voltage power supplies. This resistor capacitor filter significantly reduces ripple giving a very clean and stable output signal ideal for more sensitive applications. The low ripple filter option reduces output ripple by 70% or more and is available on all version of the UMR-A series, including those with the advanced interface options.

Using additional pins, the advanced interface options provide for enhanced adjustment and monitoring features consistent with industry standards and known customer needs. The V05 and V10 options are available with +5VDC and +10VDC reference, control and monitoring respectively.
