30 kV Discrete Diodes – UX-F30B & CL03-30

March 22nd, 2016

Dean Technology, Inc. today announced the release of two new axial lead, high voltage diodes with a peak inverse voltage rating of 30 kV. These diodes, the UX-F30B and CL03-30, are higher voltage additions to the existing CLO3 and UX series, offering the same benefits of the existing parts for even higher operating voltages.

The UX-F30B is the fastest 30 kV diode in the HVCA product line with a reverse recovery time of 50 nanoseconds. This part is ideal for high frequency applications, and offers reasonable forward current rating. The CL03-30 provides the highest current rating, 120 milliamps, for a fast recovery diode and is suitable as a cost effective diode for innumerable applications.

“These two 30 kV diodes help to round out our offering at the higher voltage end of our standard discrete parts,” said Chris Robinson, General Manager for Dean Technology’s Texas operations. “They are going to help ensure that we have the right performance and priced standard parts for our customers’ needs.”

With the introduction of these two diodes, Dean Technology now has seven different standard 30 kV diodes, and as with almost all products from Dean Technology, custom versions are available. The company’s engineering staff stands ready to assist in creating the exact part needed for a particular design.

The UX-F30B and CL03-30 are in stock and immediately available directly from Dean Technology, or through any approved sales partner or distributor.
