GxFS High Voltage Rectifier Series

Dean Technology, Inc. is pleased to announce the GxFS high-voltage rectifier product family. The GxFS series replaces the discontinued 20,000, 25,000, and 30,000 volt rated GxFP diodes. The GxFS products have an identical package size to the discontinued parts, and maintain the same electrical performance and specifications. The GxFS products will have a blue cathode band in place of a white wavy band previously used on the GxFP parts.

The GxFS products have an identical package size to the discontinued parts, and maintain the same electrical performance and specifications. The GxFS products will have a blue cathode band in place of a white wavy band previously used on the GxFP parts.

The GxFS product nomenclature allows for an easy transition by simply replacing the “P” with an “S” in the final character of the part number to designate the replacement product with the same electrical specification as the obsolete GxFP products. The parts being updated as of February 22, 2011 and their corresponding replacements are:

Obsolete (GxFP) Part -> Replacement (GxFS) Part

G25FP -> G25FS
G30FP -> G30FS

Orders for the end of life GxFP series will be accepted from existing customers based upon current usage volume until June 1, 2011, providing ample time to evaluate your product requirements. Free samples of the new series of parts will be available to all existing customer for evaluation and approval. Please note that last time orders are non-cancellable and non-returnable to ensure an equitable capacity allocation of product.
