Dean Technology, Inc. is pleased to announce the new GxFSA high- voltage rectifier product family. The GxFSA series is an upgrade of the existing GxFS products for the 2,000 to 5,000 volt range, which will be discontinued in 2011. The GxFSA product enhancements include a smaller package size while maintaining the same electrical performance and specifications.

The new part number nomenclature allows for an easy transition by simply appending an “A” to designate the replacement product with the same electrical specifications as the obsolete GxFS products. The parts being updated as of December 21, 2010 and their replacements are outlined in the PDF release.

Orders for the end of life GxFS series will be accepted for existing customers based on current usage volume until June 1, 2011. This will provide customers a minimum of six months to evaluate product requirements and complete any required evaluation of the new series. Last time orders are non-cancellable and non-returnable to ensure an equitable capacity allocation of product. Free samples of the new series of parts will be available to all existing customers for evaluation and approval as well.
