UL Certification on High Power High Voltage Power Supplies
April 24th, 2025
Dean Technology, Inc. today announced UL 62368-1:2014 (IEC 62368-1:2014) approval on the 250W modules of their UMR-HPC series of capacitor charging high voltage power supplies. With this new certification, DTI now has attained full UL compliancy on their complete standard high voltage power supply line, the UMR Family.
The UMR-HPC series is offered at output voltages of 125V to 30kV and come in different package sizes based on voltage. They are designed to withstand the demands of high-power applications with 60W, 125W, and 250W, and offer low overshoot and fast rise time while maintaining high efficiency. The UMR-HPC series come standard with voltage and current monitoring and optional buffered monitors and current regulation.
“DTI has always strived to offer the highest standard of high voltage products to our customers, and complying to UL on the 250-watt units demonstrates that commitment,” said Scott Wilson, Sales and Business Development Manager for Dean Technology. “We are always a customer driven organization, and we always consider our customers’ requirements for their applications. The UL certification gives them peace of mind they will have a smooth integration of our product into their existing or new designs.”
The UMR Family of power supplies are form-fit-function replacements for industry standard units and is comprised of six product lines – the UMR-A, UMR-AA, UMR-C, UMR-HPC, UMR-BPC, and the UMR-A-10000 to UMR-A-40000 series. All UMR models are available now for testing and purchase and are compliant to RoHS regulations.
